Day 2

We began our day learning two silly new songs, "Baby Shark" and "The Swimming Song", ask your homesteader what they remember. The first half of our day we were busy as bees making peeps. We baked peep heads in the oven and learned to sew. After lunch and a much needed swim, homesteaders talked about what natural features their ideal village would have. It seems like a pretty high priority to have our village near moving water. Fortunately we found a stream yesterday when we toured the camp! We were introduced to several peeps this afternoon, their photos and descriptions will be up for you to view just as soon as I figure out how to do it!

Tomorrow we have a special guest, surveyor John Bridges, coming to camp to help us understand just how big a real acre is. This will help us to choose our land on Friday!
